Billing & refunds
Last updated 19 October 2026. Draft: this page describes what the service does today and is pending review by the responsible policy owner before paid launch.
How purchases work
- Packs (Starter, Creator, Studio) and top-ups are one-off purchases billed in USD through Paystack's hosted checkout. There is no subscription and nothing renews or auto-charges.
- Credits are added only after Paystack confirms the payment to us with a signed event or when we verify the transaction directly. A pending payment adds nothing; a failed payment adds nothing.
- Every confirmed payment gets a numbered receipt under Packs & credits. Each payment reference is credited once, even if the provider notifies us more than once.
What a take costs
Each take shows a locked credit quote before you commit. Accepting the quote reserves the credits; they are consumed only when a verified 1080p file is delivered. Technical failures, provider refusals and wrong-resolution outputs release the credits automatically to your available balance. A take you simply do not like is still a delivered take.
Refunds
- Unused credits: a pack or top-up purchased in the last 14 days with no credits consumed can be refunded in full on request.
- Partly used packs: refunds are considered case by case for the unused portion, at the pack's price per credit, where the request is made within 30 days of purchase.
- Charged in error: if your bank shows a charge and Packs & credits shows no confirmed payment, send the payment reference to support. We reconcile against Paystack and either credit you or refund the charge.
- Service faults: credits held against a take whose outcome we could not confirm are returned once the outcome is reconciled. If we charged for a take that did not meet the 1080p contract, we return the credits.
Refunds are made to the original payment method through Paystack. Processing times depend on your bank. We do not refund credits to cash outside these cases.
Disputes
Write to support with the payment reference or take id. We answer within two business days and record the outcome against your payment.
